I have a SBC 383 pushing over 500hp to the flywheel. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the engine (ported my heads/new cam (solid roller) ect.. Well I was wanting to uprgrade my mechanical fuel pump to a better one. I don't want to go electric (yet). But was thinking of the following 2. I think the 110 GPH would be good. I like the 170 GPH but don't want to have to change over to AN fittings right now (both don't need regulators, which again I don't want to add. What are your thoughts? or is there a different one that might fit the bill. Again looking to stay away from regulators right now and electric. I will add nos in the near future.

I run an Edelbrock Performer RPM on a supercharged BBC for a few years now without any problems....

Only problem is that for some reason it says they don't fit 1st gen Camaros?

Checked the one out, I quess it would hit the sub-frame on the 1st gen is my only guess. I'm still deciding. Maybe just go with a electric. How do I determine what size my hard fuel line is right now?? Would I measure the OD of the line??

Is it just the positioning of the fuel inlet/outlet that might get in the way of the frame?
The reason I sak is because I've used pumps before that wouldn't fit, but I was able to rotate the base and everything worked out fine

My guess is that rotation of the body wouldn't solve it, as in the same listing that says '67-69 camaros won't fit, it also says the body can be rotated to any position. Maybe it's too deep?
