So driving to the Pro-Touring Dinner on Thursday night one of the fans quit working in our Oldsmobile. I thought a fuse had blown and when we arrived at the Best Western I got a chance to look into the problem closer. Turns out the entire fuse holder had melted. Now asside from the scarrieness and shenanagins of that, I went on a hunt to find some help. After asking a few wiring companies if they could help me out (and getting the cold shoulder) the guys at Painless straight cut the parts I needed off their display and I was able to rewire a Maxi fuse holder and matching fuse into the car right in the parking lot. This allowed us to get home without driving all over town trying to find the parts. So, eventhough they are not a sponser, thanks a million! I will no doubt be going back to them in the future for my wiring needs.

That was really nice of that guy to help you out. Was that the car outside of BW with the hood up after the dinner?

Painless is owned by a really great guy, Adrian Murray. He used to be here at Edelbrock years ago and I can tell you he is a great person to work with. He has put good people in the business too, great to hear there are still plenty of companies out there that put customer service above all else.

Yup that was me... Stressing out as my buddie was trying to tell me a story on the way to the Best Western, and I just kept staring at the temp gauge climbing to 230 degrees..

It's alway cool to hear stories like that. That's the type of stuff that puts certain companies heads and shoulders above the rest.
