While out at the Optima race my camera failed.

To my suprise Canon is going to fix everything for no cost. NICE!

Tony, I wished you had called me. I had a spare 5D. Precisely the reason why I have a spare body. You never know when **** fails

Thanks Robert. I would have eventually made it to you. :) Jim McIlvaine hooked me up within a few minutes. He had an extra 5D body. I will bring an extra one next time I go out.

Is yours the MKII? How long have you had it and how many shutter releases does it have on it? Just curious since I've been using mine for about a year now.

It is only a problem on the 5D, which is what he was using. This has not been a problem on the Mark II. I have had my Mark II for about a year and I have had zero issues and anyone who knows me that I use my stuff hard.
