What brake line size is the best for LS1/C5 brakes? 3/16 or 1/4 in?

While on the subject, off the stock calipers, are banjo bolts and rubber lines, where the hard lines meet, what size fitting is that?

If you're plumbing it from scratch, I prefer to just use 3/16" hard lines, since they expand less than 1/4" tubing under pressure and will meet or exceed all of the requirements for the C5/C6 disc brakes.

If you're referring to OE LS1 and/or C5 caliper hoses, the fittings opposite the caliper are M10x1.0 ISO bubble flares.

Yes, that's correct. So I'd need 4x M10x1.0 for the calipers, one M12x1.0 and one M11x1.5 for the LS1 Master, 3 whatever for the prop valve, and 3 whatever for the tee, depending on what prop and tee I chose, right?

EDIT: Oh, and those wheel studs worked great, thanks. Kind of a tight fit, lol.

That's correct, just keep in mind that there are metric ISO bubble flares and double inverted flares in the M10x1.0 thread size, so be sure to get the right ones.

The different flares require different fittings?

Since you're using ISO bubble flare fittings, the male tube nuts should have a reduced diameter snout (w/o any threads) at the tip of the nuts where it backs the bubble flare (about equal to the bubble flare diameter) on the tubing so that they don't interfere with the conical sealing surface. Some manufacturers don't reduce the diameter enough to work with an ISO bubble flare, so it effectively only aids in starting the nut in the female thread without cross-threading it. While these will work with the metric inverted flare fittings, they can bottom out in a bubble flare before the tube is compressed enough to seal properly.
