Weld roll bar to parcel tray or not?

Wondering if people normally weld their rear downbars as they pass through the parcel tray and into the trunk area or leave them clear for any movement? Pros? Cons?

Hey Gregg, from what I seen before people leave them unwelded. I think the package tray will cover it after you are all finished so you shouldnt see anything ugly.

Are you back at it again? Last I heard you say you were going to sell it???

Am selling the 3rd '69 Coupe that I will never get to. Finishing the othe '69 Coupe and later next year hopefully get back to the Convertible '69.
