Great minds think alike. I have the same combo. You have many more go fast goodies than I do. Love the brakes though. Do you like that adjustable proportioning valve?

Just read your whole thread today. Awsome look. Love the stance. Im doing a 72 also. Got the mini tubs finished and the LS1 mocked in place. Time to buy wheels. Never did catch what the back spacing is on your fronts. Now that you have put some miles on it is there any rubing? Could you have gone with a 9" wide?
My sone is also helping. He hated cleaning n cutting for the tubs. -John

thanks for all the compliments hey john no way for a 9 to fit the fronts are 8 inch with a 5 inch bs i did cut the middle out edge of the inner fenderwell about 8-10 inches long and 3 inches deep getting rid of the bolt mount that is in the center of fenderwell tried to take a pic hope you get the idea
on another note a buddy gave me for 100 bucks another rebuilt center section with with a 3.0 gear vs my 355 center started to change it out and noticed the beginings of a axle seal leak pulled the axles out and both inner grease seals on the bearing came apart talked to tobin and we aggreed to try some seals that dont allow oil to go into the tube you put them in from the center section side ,the strange rear end has no provisions for an inner seal to keep oil off bearing if this doesnt work ill get new axles with 20 style taper bearings

actually the old tires are as big as you can go with all stock we gained just a tad with all the suspension stuff

Rims looks super nice going with the same concept are they satin black and for the rear what modifications did you have to do to get 315 in the rear and wondering if 19X10 would fit I have a 68 chevelle

I've spoke to a couple wheel companies and I was told that a 10" wheel would work in the rear on my 1970 chevelle- no narrowing or mini tub needed. They made the rims with all the correct backspacing etc. needed so I wouldnt have to measure and order anything "custom." I think you can stuff a 315 tire under the chevelles as long as you roll the fender and have everything exact. anything more than that I think you need to do a mini tub job. Boze was one of the companies I spoke to, I can't recall the other one at the moment.

Doesn't a 74 Nova window fit in a 70 door? They certainly look the same.....
Its a lot easyer to do it that way....

hey guys sorry havent been around lately been really busy so heres what ive been up to.
yes the cars is done my wife Sandy drives it all over and its actually on its second set of tires same size up front since build but i did go from a 315 rear to a 295 just to get some rake to the car sandy hasnt had a lick of trouble with the car and she loves it we did get it pin striped and thats about it on the nova
Then i found a 69 mustang coupe for 20 bucks yes 20 bucks that i built for my 16 year old son, ive learned that i will never build another stang again nor work on one just not a fan of them. Bryce tell your dad sorry .
Then about 3 weeks ago i found a 72 el camino that ill clean up and prolly flip
so heres some pictures of them all enjoy guys

Im a line man for at&t a back country tech so im alwaya in the boonies, i was at a gentlemens house who had a stroke and would never do anything with it and he said if i get his phone working right for once (he always has had trouble on it) that he would give me that car. I told him sorry i cant except gifts for work so he said its yours for $20 bucks and there you have it a week later it was in my driveway ive never worked on mustangs before and talk about a pain in the ass, its name is christine after the movie my first option was Hemorrhoid
