I know that some of the cars belong to customers, but who in the hell pays to have a shop turn a viable form of transportation into this?

And what happens to it after the show?

I'd presume they take it to... Other shows?

And then maybe part it?

I dont know, but all them cars got out of SEMA jail today and watching them run around the strip tonight is great. Especially the optima challenge cars.

They'll be on ebay in a couple years for pennies on the dollar.

Just search "sema car" on ebay every now and then.

That one posted will be pushed around in all its fiberglass glory. You'd think if you were going to take the drivetrain out and push this "show" car around, that you would at least make it perfect.

I hope you guys feel good inside when you find out that you're beating up on a bunch of students. That was made by a technical college, by its students, as a learning experience.

As a college student myself, I feel I can safely say that any college student worth his salt should know that that car looks ridiculous.

If they were 3rd graders, I could understand it... but these are grown adult *college* students, so it deserves any and all ridicule thrown its way.

My intention is not to bash students, but when art takes something unbroken and useful and makes it broken and useless it just bothers me.
Once you remove the motor and put a TV in the engine bay, it is no longer a car and should not be considered as such or included in a car show.

I would assume that at the very least "Richard Markham" is proud of this vehicle.

no need to beat around the bush. I'm sure if your interested in this car something can be worked out!

It's even complete with those fake stick on fender vents you get at Pepboys or Autozone.

I mean ... really? Stick on fender vents on a SEMA car? :(
