454 in '61 bubble top

Hello,
I'm planning on putting a BBC in my 61 impala. Has anyone here done that, and if so, what type of engine mounts did you use? I believe the impala originally came with either a 283 or a 348 (409 for SS models) so I'm not sure if I could use the original engine mounts. Any help will be appreciated. :smoke:

The BBC will fit with the 283 mounts, possibly the 348/409 ones but I'm not positive on that.

No problem. I can probably put you directly in touch with the owner. He's not an online guy, but I can probably get a phone call or something fixed up for you. His car is very nice and he's a good guy.
