I dont know if theres already a thread like this but, i always enjoy looking at carnage, as long as im not stuck on the side of the road doing so. Its always amazing the ways metal bends and breaks under the different stresses when things go wrong.
..Heres a shot of what happens if you put a fairly strong 383 sbc in front of a 'stock' th350 with a shift kit..your turn!

I have a small block chevy i just pulled out of a 33 street rod, that i cant even turn over by hand. Look in the plug hole and theres all kinds of stuff shoved in there.
I will pull the heads this week and get some pics.
Scott, those pics just made me say WOW, again

Some people think you have to rev it to the moon to get those kinds of results. Not always the case, and the very reason why I prefer to use a scatter shield.

A bud hydrolocked his bracket race engine by pumping carb and flooding, damage done by high torque starter. Stewie learned an expensive lesson.

Here is one of my friends BBC 402, one of the valves broke loose, hit the top backwards once or twice, then got crammed in sideways.
I have never seen a piston survive this. These are sealed power pistons too, btw.

This is what happens when some bonehead (me) forgets to torque the carrier pin retaining bolt. It went boom at 80 MPH.
