My Dads 69 GTO has some serious issue to deal with, brakes (manual drums), screwed up clutch, and electrical gremlins. He needs a dependable daily driver, instead of that Goat and it's 3.90 in the back (he drove it to Michigan from San Diego after I did the engine, no overdrive :banghead: ). I am at the swapmeet and came across a 1967 C10 SWB stepside truck, well the gears started to turn annnnnnnd ........bam another vehicle to work on. My Pops will get my 1974 C10 pick-up for a daily driver, at least this one can drive cross country without wearing out the engine.

1967 C10 SWB Stepside

350/TH350 (might be a 305 that runs awesome, who knows it is out of a mid 1970s Chevy)

Disc brakes off a 1972 C10 with the rear axle changed to 5 lugs

It started life as a I6 and 4 spd that lived its whole life in the Carson City area of Nevada.

Where was that piece of wisdom about two weeks ago.......:pat:

Been checking CPP catalog to set the farm truck up with a 3.5 - 4.0 drop.......my God vehicles are expensive!
