Well I bought this beast 2 years ago and I'm finally getting it on the road. I would like to thank Mr. Vengeance for the inspiration when I saw his GTO Grudge on here :)
This is a low budget (all I can afford) but fun car. I've rebuilt the motor and trans, updated to disc brakes all around(low budget), put some GTO stuff on it wing hood still have to put on hood tach, painted it all satin black, still doing all custom interior, plan on some staggered deep dish wheels next summer. I have done so much stuff since I got it. I just go out to the garage when I can and work whenever I have a moment, which isn't much but I love just taking this beast out now. Thank you all so much here for so much inspiration. I know this isn't a real Pro-Touring car, but I love the style and its the closest I can get. Enjoy

That thing looks mean for sure I love the flat black it looks a lot like the Gto in the Punisher. I have to ask whats with the rear seats?

Thank you :) The rear seats are for my kids of course with full racing harnesses. I have a special needs son who loves to be in the garage with me and help, I let him paint a lot of the car. The kids just love going for a fun ride with the top down. It's all just about enjoying the ride.

Just got these 18 inch staggered TSW wheels and tires on Ebay for a song. I could not pass up. Now I just need to get the right hubcentric spacer and see if I need to change studs?

Love the wheels. I too scour ebay for a deal on some mesh Bimmer wheels to hold me over until I can swing the New Gen Anarchy's that I want.

Thank you Mr. VENGEANCE! what you were doing with that Grudge is my inspiration. Next comes suspension, as soon as I can afford it but in the meantime I am just loving cruising around and putting fear in people hahahaha.

Still waiting for hubcentric spacers so I decided to tint windows today and put top up for winter. I just took a pic with the wheels along side the car to see what they'd look like. I like! They are slightly smaller than stock wheels and tires.

Put wheels on today to make sure they fit fine and are same bolt pattern so the hubcentric 1 inch spacers that will be made this week will be correct. The 1 inch spacing is gonna have the wheels sitting nicely. Now just looking at a budgeted suspension over the winter months. Any advice on a quality but low price suspension ideas welcome. Lookin good!
My suspension setup is pretty cheap and looks good... OPGI makes 2 or 3 inch lowering springs ( I used 2" ) for a nice price. I think I read somewhere they changed suppliers from a few years ago (I was told the spring rate was very soft at first), but the current springs are nice and stiff, combined with KYB gas-a-djust shocks (atleast on my car) was night and day handling wise... its no DSE setup but for right now it works... I later moved on to hotchkis rear U/L control arms, but if you want stance and improved handling without breaking the bank, OPGI springs are a decent start...
Since your chassis is more common than mine, you have more options and may be able to find something better.

Thanks Sean I'll be looking into it. I Hope to make it down to the South Jersey meet in April too. Hopefully I'll have a decent suspension by then. Thanks again

Looking very nice! Those new wheels really set the car. I'm following this as you go. I wouldn't mind making my suspension a little more drivable on the cheap as well.

Put on hubcentric 1 inch spacers and wheels today, a perfect fit. Thanks to JR at http://www.motorsport-tech.com/ Took the car out for a ride and besides having no heat it rode nice but still can't wait to do something with the suspension in the spring. Got a few thumbs up as I romped around town

Just signed up for the Run To The Shore https://www.pro-touring.com/events/rtts/form.php in April at Motorsports park, Millville, New Jersey. A big Thanks to Bill Howell and everyone putting it together I really can't wait. Now I just need to really need to get my suspension done. I'll take any input here but I am really on a budget. I'm looking at BMR handling performance package level2 http://www.bmrsuspension.com/index.cfm?page=products&vehicleid=14&maincatid=42&catid=93&productid=77 and think I may go with that. I can't go much above $2K. I really just want to enjoy the race day, see some great cars, and make some new friends.

Just ordered my BMR Suspension Handling Performance Package (Level 2) today and hopefully the horrible weather will cooperate enough so I can get some work done on the car to be somewhat ready for April 1st https://www.pro-touring.com/forumdisplay.php?118-RTTS-Run-to-the-Shore-New-Jersey. Really excited for my first event to meet everyone and see some amazing cars and just have fun.

Have you looked into a 5.3 or 6.0 from a truck? Cheaper, easier to find, still great motors!! On another note, I got my adapters from the same place, they're great parts.

Re-did the exhaust after dropping it, too much scraping now theres no problems :) thanks to Pete at Mako in Passaic. Threw some flame graphics on it and a few more little things here and there. Its getting there slowly but at least I'm enjoying just cruising it around.
