I have a '68 Charger (B body Dodge) and I want it to have a full cage. I just need an idea of about how much tube I will need to pull that off. I want it to have A, B and C pillar bars. The C pillars following the roof and going into the factory C pillar to be tied into the frame rails above the rear axle. The A pillars will have bars coming forward thru the firewall/cowl area and tie into the front frame rails in front of the UCA bolts. Im just trying to get an idea for my order. Any help with a similar sized car and type of cage will be great, pics would be helpful too. Im trying to lay it all out in the car using masking tape rite now, just want a ballpark figure here. Thanks

try Running a tape down your car along the roof line from the cowl to the trunk and across the top then down from the roof line to the floor, then X's 2 for each side. Then maybe add a small percentage for fudge factor.:dunno:

been a while since I bought tubing but I think I bought 6 lengths of tubing 20 feet long. car is a 68 road runner. Good luck with your cage project.

Its usually less about the size of the car (to a degree) and more about how much you waste building it. I usually go through 100 feet to build that level of cage. It is easier to order 1 exra tube now than one later. I would agree with 6 20' sticks.
