Hey guys, can you tell me what license plate you think would be the best choice for 1967 Chevelle Police Car. Remember this is a tribute car designed to raise awareness and money for officers killed in the line of duty. If I use the license plates with only 6 characters, I can use the memorial plates which have the american flag as the back drop. Any way please let me know what you think. On a side note, I will have t-shirts available in the next week or two if anyone is interested.

THE FAL'N
NVR FRGT
DYDE 4U
OFICR DN
FL'N HERO

I also welcome any suggestions anyone might have.

This may not be exacty the theme of your car, but I would love to see these on a cop car:
DRTYHARY
MAKMYDAY

I like what you have but I do have one suggestion;
EOW
Like you know, it is on the date of death when killed in the line of duty.

Thanks for your tribute!

Unfortunatley RJ's sy=uggestion of EOW sums it up and it is heard all to often. This should be added to the list as it is probably the best yet.

EOW does say it all.

What if you use EOW with the 10-00 code.

EOW 10 00

I am not familiar with the 10 codes but on our end and Officer Down or in need of help is a 10-1. So maybe put the appropriate numbers next to it and see if it is available. Either way it is a hell of a nice thing that you are doing.

I chose 'Fallen Hero', as I believe it is more fitting and uplifting to the memory of those the tribute is dedicated toward.
'Officer Down' brings the heaviest emotional impact to me, but I would rather pick a more positive tag, I would rather remember 'hero' than 'down'.
'Never forget' is good, but that to me is associated directly to 9/11.
If you have to go 6 chars:
FLNHRO
FALHRO
FLHERO
OFCRDN
People will know immediately what it is about if they see either of those 2 plates, no room for interpretation.

Thanks for the input, I like them all, but I am partial to "Officer Down" because I was looking for a heavy impact. But I understand what your saying about a more positive tag.

I would absolutely agree. As soon as I saw fallen hero I didn't need to read any more.

On another note, I do think it's a fantastic thing you're doing. My girlfriends father was killed in the line of duty in Oct of 2006. Coincidentally, his favorite car was the '67 Chevelle. Do you happen to have a build thread going? I'm sure she'd be interested in watching the progress.

I feel a little ashamed to admit it, but to that point I never realized how many people are killed on a yearly basis protecting civilians on our own soil.
