Oil port in a BBC block???

I'm in the process of installing a Canton accusump in our Chevelle and as of right now I am planning on running a remote oil filter and run the line to the accusump off of that. But, if there is a port directly into the oil system that has at least a 3/8 NPT I will run directly to that and save some weight and hassle.
