Anyone have harbor frieght blasting cabinet 40 lbs floor cabinet? Looking for pros and cons of it,fit a 15 inch wheel in it? Do you have a reclaimer on it? Trying to figure out how to tell my wife why I really need one which I do but money can be tight as we all know! Brandon

My friend has one, and it leaks a lot. Not sure if its his assembly or a poorly made cabinet, but it kind of sucks that way. Also, it never seemed to be that at blasting parts.

I have one, bought it to refinish my wheels, 15 inch snowflakes. I have used it for several other things. I haven't had any leak
problems.

I have a similar cheapie box. Once I hooked my old shop vac to it, it became far more usefull. I could see what I was doong and leakage dropped too. I need to modify the vac setup a bit to lessen the wear & tear on the vac though.

I've got one from Sumitt racing. Its cheap made and prob. the same as the HF part. It works very well after a little tweaking. I am now using a shopvac that helps a bundle. The first thing I did to mine was throw the window away and have a piece of automotive glass cut to fit. Cost me $15 and is very scratch resistant. I Can see much better through it and I dont even use the plastic window covers. Just use a duster to dust the inside of the window off. I did have alot of leaking with mine as well and ended up taking it back apart and using alot of silicone on all the seams. It is now leak free. You also need to have good dry air. Even though this is a cheap item it has been one of the most used items in my restoration so far. And yes you can fit a 15 inch wheel in it or a cylinder head. Longtube BBC headers will not fit though I tried.

I have the Harbor Freight cabinet and I love it. I use it all the time. I had a few leaks around the door, but once I hooked up dust collector they went away.
