Well it was an interesting day. Laguna is a tough track for my car. I'm way too heavy on the front for those long down hill turns. Plus I need to get alot more negative camber tuned in to the front before I go back out again. All in all it was a fun day till things went south. First the neck broke off the main housing on the power steering pump and all the fluid pumped out. Ok, I can deal with that. Then my third session out one of my forged roller rockers gave it up and I was done for the day. Had to get Flatbedded home. At least I saved some gas and didn't have to drive the holiday traffic. Alls better now with a new set of stainless steel rockers and the pump neck welde back on. Now I'm going to have to spend some money on some new front end parts. It always something.

Bob,

Sorry to hear you had so many problems, but it was good to see you got out there. I takes a bit to get these cars trackworthy. Hope to see you out there again.

hey Bob,
so what are you going to do with the front end? got a goal for when you plan to hit another track day? maybe we can coordinate...

Well some how, some way, I have to get more neg camber dialed in to the front alignment. I don't think I can do too much about the weight over the nose unless I really want to get serious. But the camber will be the next place to adjust. Maybe next time I'll go with a tire with a little bit stiffer sidewall up front.
