Paint Supplies Santa Barbara County California

Hello this may have been asked before but nothing came up in the search. Im going to start shopping for paint supplies soon. I have been told they only sell waterborne paints in this county. Can someone please give me a quick run down on these types of paints and what type of primers they are compatible with spray conditions etc. I know each product will differ I just wanted a little bit off insight before going to the local paint supplier. Would I be better off importing my paint supplies?

If someone wants to start a separate thread on waterborne paint it might be helpful to people in the near future. Its spreading.

also, waterborne only changed the base coat. i used spi primers, dupont chromabase waterborne, and spi clear. it all worked really well together.

Thanks for the link. I wasnt sure If I would have problems having paint supplies shipped to this county either. I will check with them before I order.

I've ordered numerous times from them (tcp). Solvent based to SLO county which is also waterborne!
