Well I am a little embarrassed to show what I am starting with but I couldn't destroy a nice collectible. The true is I couldn't afford one any way. This one was one step from the scrap heap. I just got it resting on the frame fixture. I need to try and put the new rockers on. I will run the tubing inside to give a little more strength and a good solid point to attach the tube frame. Corvette front suspension and 9" ford rear is in order with a 2x3 custom frame. The original flexible flyer frame is down the road.

wow!!! That's going to be such a cool car when you get it finished. I really like these cars when there are fixed up right.
Cant wait to see more.

Glad you're saving it from the crusher, one of the best looking cars of the 50's and a timeless design.

Looks like quite the project, if I can advise at all... Start a photobucket account so you can host the pictures there and link them here. I think there is a thread with instructions in the multimedia area. Your posts will be much easier to follow in this format. Good luck, I look forward to following along.

Point the cursor over the picture and when the drop menu comes down, copy the IMG Code and just paste it here in the Quick Reply box...and Badabing!
