Hello. I would like to know how to made bicycle brake discs.

Could be made by injection and then cut the holes with laser?or produced by another process?
Is for a college proyect.
Thanks

I'd get them water or laser cut out of SS. Should be an easy job. May require surface grinding afterwards.
If this is a ME project, it's going to be a long road for you!

We made the brake discs for our SAE Mini Baja car back in college. I can't remember the alloy we used, but we didn't use stainless. We didn't have a laser or water jet so we CNC milled them out and surface ground them. They worked pretty well for our application which was relatively low speed.
I'm confused by your comment about injection??????? Unless your specific project is brake rotor design, I would find something that fits your application and buy it. We made ours, partly as a project to keep the underclassmen busy (and just to say we made them), but there were a lot of things that we would have been better off buying.
A good example is our Solar Race team machined their wheels from solid pieces of Aluminum - -Why??? I guess they looked cooler, but they ended up heavier than a spoked bicycle wheel that is way cheaper.........
