I'm looking at repro front spoilers for my 71 Firebird....not planning on running the side(wheel) spoilers, just the centre section. I want the smooth "no spoilers" body look, but I am concerned about keeping some of that air out from under the nose of the car at highway speeds.

Has anyone got any feedback on the various repro spoilers available.
I notice two on Ebay (TAMRAZ and someone else's) and Classic Industry has three different ones - one ABS, one fibreglass and one "custom" that is supposed to be able to be used with or without the side spoilers (don't know what its made of...probably f'glass).
Any thoughts?

Leigh... I'd get with Bob Bertelsen... he did the Code Red 'bird (atch).
Jason Rushforth designed it so he should have his contact info...
He put a small chin-only spoiler under the front valance on the car...
no side spats at the wheel wells (ala Trans Am).
It worked and looked very good IMHO! HTH

I'm gonna revive this old thread and see if anyone has found a nice aftermarket chin spoiler for 2nd gen birds yet ? I've been looking, but haven't found an option I like yet, so I may have to make my own.

I seem to remember that someone mentioned in a thread there may be a carbon fiber spoiler available soon.
