Minnesota members, we need all the help we can get to support the race track/drag strip proposal for the Mpls./St. Paul metro area. I hope you can attend. RAHP is a very cool place to visit. I work there as the Security Manager. Thanks, Ed

Running Aces Harness Park will be the host site for the NASCAR Show on October 16th 2010. The show will take place in our parking lot between the hours of 11am and 4pm. The show is an educational rally to support the proposal of a NASCAR track in Columbus or Lino Lakes. The event is expected to bring in 400 cars. Dan Jordan is the client and will be executing the event at Running Aces.

Guests will park in the far East section of the Running Aces Parking Lot. Dan Jordan will employ volunteers to assist in parking guests. There will be a small stage and Public Address System set-up in the parking lot to address the crowd. A local band is being scheduled to play a few songs through-out the afternoon. Music and announcements will not exceed regular racing volumes and will not be played past 4pm.

A licensed food vendor will be serving pulled pork sandwiches from a vendor booth in the parking lot. The first 400 cars to arrive will receive a free pulled pork sandwich. 1,500 cans of NOS energy drink are being donated to the event and will be handed out the guests at a vendor booth. Running Aces will not serve any food in the parking lot for the event, but will distribute a onetime only 20% Food Voucher to all guests to be used that day at our restaurant or concessions stand.

As guests arrive to the event they will be asked to fill out an optional contact information flyer if they would like to receive updates on the proposal. These contact sheets will be collected and used as drawing slips for the chance to win Target and Best Buy gift cards.

All guests of legal gambling age will receive $5 match plays to be used that day on our pit tables.
