Hi everyone, I thought that i would post a few pics of my camaro now that i have finished the 4 wheel disc upgrade. I think that they look good 330mm front and 300mm rear but the best part is that it stops on a dime now. I have also put a couple of pics of the interior i recently put rear inertia reel seat belts in i am also thinking about getting the rear seat trimmed in leather to math the fronts.

Well time for a small update. After having trouble with the mirrors folding in at speed i ought sum 2nd Gen mirrors. Had them painted and i fitted them today. The hardest part was fitting the remote control to the door trim. What do you guys think? I also gave my grand pa spec Torana sedan a wash and drive today. It was only the 3rd time ive driven it all year.5142651427514295142851425

Mate...very cool. Those mirrors are hard to beat. I looked at other ones for my 71 project, but the factory ones are really the best. You did a nice job on them, looks factory!
Love the pensioner pack Torana.....lol.
Nice job on the seats, belts and brakes, too.

I had to raise the car as it was pretty much undriveable in the corners. Ive gone up another inch or so and with the alignment sorted it drives so much nicer i cannot believe it. I also replaced the heim joints on the rack ends. Cant wait for the next sprint event.

Well ive raised the car and had it aligned with a bit of negative camber and new heim joints on the steering rack. I also picked up sum new seats which i am going to fit this weekend they are black leather with like a suede insert around then leather again.

Are your calipers Camaro front & C4 rear? Do you have any caliper to spoke clearance issues with the race wheels? Would you happen to have a pic of the back of the wheel?

Hi Jeff i believe that the rear is a camaro caliper the front are a ford falcon caliper and rotor. Here is a link to their website http://www.hoppers.com.au/ , I will take a pic of the back of the wheel for you later today. No issues with clearance .

I'd buy the Holden seats from you but I'm afraid the shipping would price it out of being a good buy. :) Turns out that Holden is a subsidiary of GM so maybe there's a similar looking seat on a US model GM car. Really nice looking '69 you got there.

Hi David, Thanks for the compliment re the car. If you have a look in a pontiac g8 that is what my seats are based on and very easy to make fit.

Cool, thanks for the hint. I looked at a few G8 photos online but couldn't identify the correct year. Do you know which year the Commodore the seats came from?

Hi everyone, Ive fitted a pair of the Holley engine covers what do you think, Ive also replaced my seats and had a custom adjustable front sway bar made. I have also been able to pick up a set of Forgeline wheels that i will be trying to fit this weekend. Check out my pics below.

Stripes on the covers helps....I thought it was too much yellow without the stripes.
That seat look great in there.

It's been a while since I had a set of the 2nd gen mirrors apart but I think there is a nut on the inside that you can tighten up. I might be thinking of a different mirror but it is worth a try. You will have to take the mirror off of the car and remove the base (two screws) and then look for a screw that will tighten up the ball/socket mount.

Ok its been awhile so i thought that i might bring you guys up to speed with what ive been doing to my car. Firstly after much waiting and stress my parts finally arrived from Prodigy customs (see feedback section for details) So far ive fitted the front Qa1 shocks and springs along with a set of Heidts lower arms to match with the uppers. Ive installed the QA1 in the rear also (still waiting for Frank to tell me how much he wants me to pay for them)I have also today put sum billet fuel rails on to add a bit of bling to the motor. I recently had the paint work touched up which included respraying 90% of the car. I added the stainless bonnett adjusters also. Overall its coming along nicely. All i need to do now is find time to fit the Vaporworx tank and the Vintage air unit to the car. Dony worry when you see how low it sat at first, Ive raised it up to be safe and legal. Cheers for now.

Here's an update that's been along time coming. On the weekend I entered the historic sandown race meeting. I've fitted a brand new built engine about 12months ago but in the mean time life got in the way and I ended up moving to Saudi arabia for 10 months. So I finally got to stretch the cars legs abit and I was very impressed. The suspension changes have made putting the power down much better. I even had the aircon switched on at 220kmh. 105103105104105105105106105103105104105105105106
