Thanks. It won't be finished for a while, but the building is fun.
building something is always fun.
Without trying, Will just inadvertently made a great case for hiring a designer and by your thread title alone, you're a perfect candidate to hire one.
Im not gonna hire a designer. Never will.

Ya, asking 20,000 strangers is a way better plan!

As for a color that not everyone is doing... green is a good color, like the new dodge viper green. But I think the question is way to vague without knowing more about what you are doing with the car...and not knowing what you like at all.
Well its gonna be a road car. But will have some serious power. I like intimidating looks. Just somthing that says to not be messed with.

From my experience, the more intimidating you make your car, the more people want to mess with you. Theres something about a fast looking car that makes every wannabe racer with their fartcan equipped ****box come out and try to challenge you. I personally like a more subtle look.
For color though, I've always liked a darker orange on that body style. Maybe with the tail stripe in the back.
I see. I dont want something that has already been done a thousand times too. Like green, i dont mean on just the dart but most muscle cars.

I like factory colors, and Mopar had a lot of cool ones in that era... my favorite is for "Sassy Grass Green"

I built this scamp a few years back. Went with 2002 Viper Race Yellow. Got to keep a Mopar "Mopar".

I think black and yellow are killer together, but I'm personally not fond of the older mopar yellow's. To light with no depth. I love Yellow and the Viper Yellow is very deep. I almost put a matte black stripe on the scamp but got talked out of it. My current ride is Yellow with Black SS stripes. The chevy yellow of that year is ok still not deep enough for me. It just doesn't look a shinny as the Viper yellow. Compare?

i would go with a classic Mopar color, an orange, lime green, purple,or yellow. just have a little fun with it! my son has a 67 barracuda that we plan on working on some day
I would get sort of the Bumble Bee yellow from transformers, the Camaro. Something of that nature. Would that look good?
