custom interior costs?

what would a ball park figure on haveing rear seat and 2 front buckets, dash and door panels covered in ultra leather.nothing real fancy just a little more modern than stock?car is a 68 camaro thank you guys

I can only tell you my rear seat cost $325 to be made to match my Procar rallys. And that was at the primo place in my area.

I guess I think the question is deeper than nice interior = big bucks. Is the project to recover existing panels and chairs, asthe OP implied, or generate new panels and chairs?

I paid $1500 for a bench seat to be covered in leather and have a couple buckets molded into the seat. New stitching patterns and even the seat back is leather

I recently had new interior put in my 63 Nova and spent a total of $3700 on what would normaly have been about a $7000 job. I made numerous trips to the upholstery shop going over design and prep work details. I did as much of the prep myself as possible to cut costs. I also supplied the material for the job.

The breakdown is as follows

Found a used set of Krist Kustom Streamline buckets covered in ultra leather Buff as my starting point. The seats my have been used but were virtualy brand new

10 yards of matching material and 10 yards of carpet at wholesale, if you spend the time to shop this stuff there are deals to be had

100 square feet of sound deadener (E-bay)

$2000
Labor for upholstery shop. He did the back seat, package tray, door panels, made the arm rest bases, carpet and headliner.

I have been quoted $10-13k for a camaro interior that is just empty.. this would be building the rear seat, buying fronts, then covering to what I want.. all panels, headliner etc.. etc..

I'm afraid to know what the interior I have designed in my head would cost. The thought is worse after going to the GoodGuys show this weekend and seeing all those beautiful interiors that smelled like giant leather coats. What an addicting smell.

My 67 camaro cost $10,000 for covering front recaros, molding rear seats to match fronts, make custom console, headliner, install and cover Marquez door panels, trunk and rear deck lid..it turns heads everytime. I just got my 81 TA front and rear seats recovered in simulated leather for $500...so the spectrum is far and wide

Don't fall prey to the quotes of 10k. That is rediculous for a simple ultraleather interior. Yes there are plenty of shops charging that and more, but it sounds like you are not looking for the cutting edge interior with the latest designs and materials.
With seats that don't need to be reworked, doo panels with simple arm rests and pulls, no german squareweave carpet just a limo cut pile or loop pile carpet, bowed headliner and covering the dash, In my opinion, you should spend around $4500.

But heck you only said seats, door panels and dash. So you should be in the $3000 range.
If you start adding stainless trim, carbon accents, and other exotic materials the price will start to climb quickly.
