will be running the c6 Z06 front and rear brakes. will have counters on both front and rear end. abs has been added to my viper gts and they used a mercedes controller and computer. since the system isn't currently working (havn't taken the time to diagnose) i was wondering what others have found to be simple easy to install controller/computer and the interface with the wheels sensors?
looking for model/car specific parts people have used with success. looking on ebay, it appears maybe the 3rd gen camaros had both integrated into one unit. i may be wrong though.
running 275/30/19f @ 25.5" and 345/25/20r @ 26.8"

Can't you use the SRT-10 controller/computer?

i guess i never said the car it was going on. 67 camaro, lol.
looking to see what is the easiest to work with and hook up and a single unit controller/computer. compatible with gm wheel sensors.

I'm using a Bosch 5.3 system which is common in 2001-up Corvettes (may be a bit earlier as well, can't remember). I've found 5.X systems to be easier to retrofit. I would consider a C5 unit, or 4th gen with TCS. Both use, if I remember right, a 47 tooth reluctor wheel.
Looking at your tire size, the 4th gen unit wont work due to the diameters (unless if you wanted to modify the rear signal). A C5 Z06 should work, the front/rear diameter ratio is 2% off from what you currently have.

Matt, couldn't you just reprogram the computer to compensate for the different size wheels/tires?

My mistake. Thought you we're working on the Viper.

I guess in theory you could, but from what I understand, it's not possible. That's where the aftermarket kit comes in.
The ABS computer is what limited my tire choices to a 275/35R18 front and 295/35R18 rear, but ended up wonderfully balanced and still did 1.0g on the skidpad.

I thought handheld scanners had the ability to change the tire diameter in the pcm? Oh well, 275's and 295's are probably more than enough.

We used ATS spindle on front and a 2000/2001 C1500 diff (I think) Axles and drivel line from same vehicle, so it inclusion was easy. He got complete wiring too.But as long as the VSS signal line meets the EBCM spec its all good.
Its a simple 3 line/channel system and works great so far. But the wheel difference needs to be less with tire diameter or speed ratio. his car has similar diameter tires. another guy said his was almost ready to drive but he did some changes. Ill ask him if I hear back from him.
