Illinois/Wisconsin to be exact.
Just picked up a 69 Camaro that had been dipped and then the owner got discouraged and left it.:hammer:

I'd like to get it stripped of all it's rust again.
Don't really think I can reach everywhere sandblasting it myself.

Stowe Auto body in Lockport Illinois. They did my Chevelle in soda and I am very pleased with their work.

There's a place in Michigan, I'll have to get the name for you, they acid stip/neutralize (veggie oil?)/ecoat the whole car. I believe it's the best way to go. PM me if you want to know more...

There is a place in Toledo that dips cars, and it s alkaline dip. It won't eat the metal like acid dip does. I'll have to see if I can find the company info.

That e coating sounds cool but I'm wondering if it's the way to go if 60% of the shell is gonna be cut away for new stuff??

I'm mostly worried about the inaccessible areas in the roof and the inner quarter structure.

Thanks for the replies, gonna have to give some of these folks a call.

Redistrip did most of my car. They can dip your entire car. I chose to have my fenders, doors and trunk lid dipped, Endura front bumper soda stripped and DA's the body. My car is an AZ car so it really was more to remove the paint than to remove rust.

OK so what was reccomended to me was to do all metal replacement as best you can then eCoat the whole thing. You will end up with a rust free car looking very much like a Dynacorn body would. Pretty cool if you ask me (Iknowyoudidn't)...

blasted too long in specific areas and left depressions in the metal...with ugly results.
