I had both of my case's cleaned in a hot water parts washer at work. Cleaned both of them for 30 mins. Alot of dealerships have the parts washer I am talking about. Brandon

If it's an aluminum case, your dishwasher will work very well. My wife loves it when I use ours for such things. :)

My Grandma opened her dishwasher and found Grandpa's wire wheel covers in there. He got an ear full!
The parts washers work well. Some aluminum cleaner chemicals leave a residue if the dry on the surface. I used a parts washer and then a hot pressure washer.
