twin screw snout ext removal anyone suggest proper tool?

I need to get the front snout shaft extension off does anyone have any suggestions on the correct way to do this,without ruining it? It is only on a 1/4" over the shaft.

Finally got it, I heated it up and made a slide hammer and it popped right off!
