For example: I did a search, found a thread that answered my question.....almost. Do I bring it back or start a new one?

I feel stupid asking this, but in the thread I was about to reply to there was actually a post reminding noobs to "not get caught up in the discussion and a revive a dead thread."

I know this isn't cc but I don't want to get flamed. Although you guys aren't half as mean as you think you are, get on the hamb and ask how to build a rat rod!

its always better to use an existing thread if it has half of the answers already there... just try and make sure its on topic...

yup.. as long as the answer is not COMPLETELY answered in the thread.

each thread old as it is doesnt always have the finality some people need.. so yea..

Correct. We prefer the use of search and old threads. It shows due diligence on the part of the poster.
