What's the best way to assemble wheel tubs so they can be welded together?

is this the front? Rear? DSE? stock? I like using clekos but I used 1/8" pop rivets on some builds.

they are rear wheel tubs. came with the half circle piece and the long flat piece that gets welded to the half circle piece.

I butt-welded mine.

The half circle piece has a lip that makes the 90 degree angle, so I cut off the pittsburgh seam and welded it up.

It takes some patience to keep from warping them all to hell, but it wasn't that hard.

Like John,

I did the same thing. I started with the half moon pice, cutting it to fit the shape of the frame rail (Middle of the out side rail).

Then I took some manilla folders and mocked up the shape of the top pieces. Did it piece by piece until I had the shape right.

Cut the manilla folders out as one piece and drew it out on the metal.

Took some air sheers to the flat metal and tacked it in.

Still need to fully weld them in place.

Hope that helps.
