Ok, so I had the opportunity to work with my brother a couple of weeks back on a music video he was making for cartoon network. He told me basically 3 things, I need a stunt driver for the day (CHECK), you'll be driving a 71 Ford Ranchero, (Cool, Double Check) and we'll be having a stunt person jump from the Ranchero into a 60's Chevy van at speed. (Doubly cool, Triple Check). Done deal, I took a vacation day from work and headed out.

So what he DIDN'T tell me was... well, you'll figure it out in the video.

The filming took place over 2 days here in Atlanta and out in Covington east of town.
The video involves the following:

over half a dozen classic muscle cars
a classic drive-in theatre
heavy metal band
zombies
an AWESOME CAR chase
and, well, an incredible wardrobe.
Go to this link and click on the "Skeleton Witch" video. If you are at work, definately have a headset on before watching. Nothing too risky but definately not kid friendly.

Enjoy!

crappy music- the new death metal bands just don't do it for me..
but i do love the idea of zombies destroying the hell out of living stuffed animals..

Yeah, the music is no where near my liking, but the theme was awesome! Doing the driving all day long in a dog suit was a challenge, but it turned out well in the end.

lol...great video...crap music.
The guy on the bike and the guy hanging out of the van door sure looked the part.

Music is seriously lacking ... and usually those kinds of bands at least have a higher level of technique/sonic quality/musicianship, but it sounded so flat and generic, it was nearly impossible for me to leave the audio on... and I love metal (and not hair band, Metalisucka, or Neu metal either).

As for the video, it was kinda like watching a cross between Michael Jackson's Thriller and Aphex Twin's Donkey Rhubarb (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tatccHVfuhA). But ya know, zombies and the anthropomorphization of stuffed animals never really gets old.

Cool video. Reminded me of the CSI "Fur And Loathing" episode where they went to the plushies and furries convention. The music itself was alright but I can't handle the vocals. Not quite as bad as the rabid bear roar that a lot of the death metal bands have.
