Hi guys don't you just hate recalls! Such a pain in the a$$ to deal with . Well I just got a doosie. I got a letter in the mail they re called my hip implant. How do you like me now! I can't believe it. They re called them from the market because they are putting metal shaving in to the blood stream and are fracturing some peoples thiegh bone. The worst ones with the most trouble are the complete hip replacements Which is t he one I have. lucky me. I can't believe it, I'm stunned. They already have a lawyer on TV offering to take cases for this. As if building a new car and a garage isn't enough.:injured:

Wow, that blows man! Well on the good side (if there is one!), at least you got the recall and didn't CAUSE the recall!!
Good luck buddy!

Sorry to hear that. You put the surgery and rehab behind you and now it all looms once again. That truly blows.

That's horrible. I've had some re-construction on my right knee and between being in bed for way too long and then having to re-learn how to walk, it's just a miserable experience. Best of luck, and hopefully you can get a bunch of new parts out it! :)

That serious blows huge chunks!

Hey if they got go in maybe you should have Kyle at DSE look at working on the geometry of the new unit, a better camber curve and play with the roll centers and you could cut some serious corners on the rug.

Sorry about the news....a guy here at work just went through all of this with his knee replacement, had problems getting the first replacement to heal up correctly and then the joint was too loose and his knee would try to fold backwards the wrong direction if he stepped wrong. After the second go around, he healed up quickly and the newest knee is tight and he says he feels like his old self again. Hope they can get you in and out and healed back up in a hurry.

You're not behind on the payments right?? I mean, i know atleast a few people here have seen "repo men"....

Anyhow, that sucks man. Atleast they called in it before you had complications.

I can't do that because its only one hip . I would only be good for NASCAR (Left turns only ) lol.

A friend of my parents broke his thigh bone twice because of this. Believe me, you don't want that to happen.

Good luck and take care
