What sifting through some pics on the computer and ran across this one that I took at the Kruse car auction in Auburn, IN last Sept. This thing was mint with awsome paint. Didn't get down and look underneath it though so don't know if it had any suspension mods or not.

I dont believe its the same car the 69 that got picked apart...that one had a shaved trunk lock...this one appears to still have its lock there...

That is sharp! How do you like those brakes without a booster?
Also where are you located? Looks like one of the great lakes in the background.

The hydroboost unit works great. The pedal feel is a little different than a vacum booster but it really puts the clamps on! I went to that from 4 wheel manual drums so the difference is night and day.
I am in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The lake in the background is lake Superior during the St. Ignace car show.

Cool on the brakes, it sounds like the non booster brakes is the way to go.

I thought that looked like one if the great lakes... you mean Lake Huron thought right (not lake superior). That looks like Mackinac Island in the background. I'm way down at the bottom of the state (Coldwater, MI) but am up that way a few times a year. I'm fairly heavy into snowmobileing and snowmobile drag racing. I bought my camaro chassis in Charlevoix last July actually. The same weekend that the St Ignace show was going on. haven't been up to that show yet though.

Yes, Lake Huron, my mistake. I travel up to lake Superior often and must have had it on the brain. The St. Ignace show is a good one if you can get to it. It is a nice little town and fun way to spend a 2-3 day weekend. The show use to be a giant party starting Wed. night but the Police have basically turned it into a more family oriented show weekend with mostly highschoolers cruizing at night now. Back in the day I was given the opportunity to visit the local jail for 14 hours for laying a patch of rubber on the main drag...live and learn.
