Gentlemen,

I know the fit between a Pitman Arm and the Center Link shank it fits on is tight, but I just wanted to make sure mine fits reasonably well before I torque down on it.

Center Link Shaft: top: 0.5" Bottom: 0.567"
Pitman Arm: top hole inner diam: 0 .47" Bottom hole diam: 0.55"

Gap between bottom face of Pitman Arm & shaft bottom as seen in the pic below: 0.21"

Is this fit acceptable or will it be too tight once I tighten it down?

thats fine, the hole and shaft are conical. after you shoot some grease and dirt in there you'll barely notice it.

Thanks Mr Quick. I've been piecing my suspension together all summer and wanted to make sure I don't screw it up at the very end.

your doing good.

It would take an act of Olympus to close that gap.

I seem to remember a foam type disc that you can put in there to keep the crud out.

The gap is there so it can swivel.
