111 did not suck but if the driver had any balls it would have done much better.

You showed the difference between driver and car. For you to run a 110 with 250 less HP, pretty damn inpressive. Thanks for the ride along.

Horsepower means very little in autocross.

Horsepower means very little in autocross.
It does when there's a long uphill straightaway twice, once from a dead stop... There were 4 places on that course that I was WOT and begging the car for more. 250rwhp just wasn't enough for a 3800lb car on that course. I loved the course layout though, I'm used to running on uber-tight Miata courses, so this was fast flowing course was a real fun experience. Next year I'll have more power and less weight(LS swap) ...and hopefully not cone away my FTD. :nopity:

I'd be "timid" in that caliber of car no doubt! If you pause it at the right time, you can see my black mark going over the curb.

I was at the top of 1st, 2.66 first, 3.55 rear, 27.5' tire, 7000RPMs, 59MPH 100 foot before the braking cones. The other stretch had me wound out for a split second also. This was a horsepower track for sure. I would bet easy my car would have a full second on Dereks car to the cones, and a good 1/2 second on the other stretch.

During my fun runs my eyes literally averted to that black mark. I slowed down so as to not join your exclusive club! :)

Just don't get your foot stuck under the brake pedal when going from gas to brake and you'll be fine. :)

David was nice enough to follow me to the event and back as I ended up with more cars then drivers. It was a pretty bad tease though in the notorious Pigeon Forge traffic. I think he reached a top speed of 37MPH, LOL!

Thanks David, I would not have trusted too many people.
