Hey every body Iv'e gotten allot of useful info from here. I'm looking for a Disk brake conversion for my 71 cutlass thats not going to brake the bank, I Was wondering, As long as I have after market control arms I should be able to run any Disk brake kit right? I'm looking at 1995 impala brakes, seems recently I found some affordable C5 parts the upper and lower control arms with brake caliper and all! will that fit a 71 cutlass?

The impala bolt pattern is 5x5 the cutlass is 5x4.75. The C5 brakes can be used the rest of the c5 stuff is not bolt on. The Most cost effective way to get big brakes is a c5/6 conversion. Contact Tobin at Kore3 for a complete kit or you can piece it together if you want but the price is going to be very close to the same possibly more. Do a search for more information on this
