84 Monte SS build

I have been really working on the Monte since April of this year. The car was in rough shape the pass side floor pan was rusted along with the door bottoms the striker on both sides was craked with the driver side being the worst. The fornt end needed some work. Here is what i started with.

Here is where i patched the biggest part of the floor please over look my welding as this is the frist welding that i have ever reall done.

Here is the driver side striker i welded and then use Metal fill to level the area the mark you see in the pic is where the paint wasn't completely dry as i was adjusting the striker.

The door and front end along with the interior was from an 86 t top parts car. I have put all new weather strip kit on the car from Mikes Montes and have reseam sealed most of the car. I still have to clean the interior and intall it along with putting a trans in. But this car as it seats now is a much better car than what i bought almost ten years ago. All the metal i used to patch my floor and make the plates for the shave handles was from the roof of an old junked s10 blazer. I had it so i used it the only money i have had to sepnd was for the weather strip kit and for body supplies that i didn't have so far i have about 400 bucks. That has been the goal for stage of the project. The parts from the 86 parts car was given to me by a good frind of mine that was going to haul it off for junk. Let me know what you guys think.

Good job man! I would get that angle grinder and smooth down the welds just a bit, then paint, it will resist moisture better too.
Your welds will get smoother as you do more.
Not criticizing, be proud of your work, I appreciate somebody that, like myself, I do all the work on my car.

Since the pics have been taken i have took a grind to the welds and then used seam sealer and primed and sealed back up. Just trying to figure out what color to paint the car and paint the floor pans to match.
