I know - Pics Pics Pics... Not to worry - I have some.

Well always been a mustang fan, and I sold off all of my modern stangs to purchase this 68 Coupe. Always loved the car since I was a kid, and now I finally have one. The car is drivable in it's current condition. Someone said it in one of the posts best.. I felt like the coolest person driving in this beat up ride. The smile on my face was ear to ear...

Well for some specs.. The owner before me, took care of all the body work (not too much though since I live in NC) Very little bondo on the car. STraight, has a rebuilt 351W engine (Sat for 3 years in a barn after this was done, so needs some cleaning), all new floor pans, Brand new exhaust The rest is pretty much stock.

I've started fixin' her up already. Figure Im going to work on the engine first then suspension & Wheels, and finally paint. I've done the 3core radiator, added all new gauges, and new wiring as well. Have added alot of engine dress up items too - trying to make as much chrome in there as I can. Should be pretty fun cleaning it too.. NOT...

I'd also like to thank B Cichocki for crusing other boards and posting his ride which brought me here for a furthur look, and just fell in love with the board. All you camaro guys. GREAT JOB!!! The cars I've seen on this site are by far the best I've ever seen (and Im on a lot of the forums)

Well lets get on with already right. Here are some pics of the car the day it was delivered. And also a link to a smal video of me pulling her into the garage for the first time:) The video has some skips in it, it is not the engine...

Welcome to the site and congratulations on the 68 Coupe purchase. Its nice to hear that yours in excellent condition with a V8 and even runs. Do you have any major plans for it? Is it going to be your daily driver? Gonna take it to some track events?

My girlfriend has a 67 Coupe that we are currently working on. Its nice to see other coupes.
Our plan is to get a 67 Fastback if we sell this.

Your video didnt work. But this link will make it work. http://www.wedesigngood.com/stang/exhaust.WMV

You have a lower case .WMV at the end of your link.

Hey thanks for fixing the link for me. Yeah plans for this is to make it a weekend driver. It will never see rain, there is no snow where i live, and will only be driven in nice warm weather.

I was originally going to do full on muscle. 15" classic wheels, fat tires, Then I saw it.... B Choi.... (sorry cant remember his name) his car looks pretty sweet. I was now thinking of going that route. I love the stance, so I will first start to head in that direction. My next big purchse will be rims/tires - I'll be tinkering and starting the interior why I save up for the rims.

Please correct me if Im wrong, but my research shows me this:

I'll be doing 620coils up front (prob. cut) Not sure on the leaf in the back yet. At least 17" wheels (not sure which ones yet) - Entire gutting and replacement of interior - eventually 9" rear with 4.10s... Tranny after that. I'll be painting it candy apple red for the bottom, Black on the top with a thin silver stripe to seperate the colors.. I'm a graphics guy, so I too B Choi... pic, and edited with what Im looking for, but dont think it would be fair of me to post his car altered. So I'll eventually post some drawings Im working on.
