when using a harrop or magnacharger with a sbc in a 69 camaro can you still use a stock or cowl induction type hood

sbc, maybe... bbc. Just saw a 69 camaro today from a guy on this board and he had to add metal to make the cowl taller to make more room. It was really close but with engine movement it would probably rub.

the old style 1st generation sbc. Can't seem to find much information on this from a google search.

I have a LS with a Harrop setup, the body of the car is channeled down over the frame so I had to set the motor back to make it work with the stock cowl. If I didn't channel the body it would have worked with some minor modifications to the stock hood.
