When I picked up my recent supply of parts, I was hoping to have also gotten some a/c louvers. I wanted to get a set of the pro-line louvers from Vintage air. part # 49355-VUQ on this page http://vintageair.com/catalog10/2010%20VintageAir%20Catalog%20printed_%20(Page%202 8).pdf Later found out that Vintage Air can no longer get them. Then I found these ones... http://www.hotrodair.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=173/category_id=45/home_id=2/mode=prod/prd173.htm but since Hot Rod Air is no longer in business, they won't work. Billet Specialties has some http://www.billetspecialties.com/product.asp?cid=8&scid=113 but none of them really jump out at me. I like the idea of being able to close the vent like the first two. Now I'm still trying to find some louvers. I haven't ruled out using rectangular ones, but I know I want to get some that are billet. Show us which vents you're running in your cars and if you don't mind, include who makes them and where you got them.

Thanks Kevin. I saw these ones that I really liked from the newer mustangs http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0035XSVW8/ref=asc_df_B0035XSVW81242653?tag=the004-20&creative=395261&creativeASIN=B0035XSVW8&linkCode=asn

I'm just wondering if they would be easy to hook up to a Vintage Air set up. Anyone know?

I did see those. I was also looking at the Clayton Machine Works ones. Very nice, just not sure how the oval shaped ones will look in my car though. I was looking at the garage built cars thread on lateral-g and found this pic. I think these are the Billet Specialties ones. Didn't really like them on their site, but I don't mind them at all once installed. And they're half the price of the ones I was looking at.

Mike, I hear ya. I just installed a VA kit in my '66 GTO, and now I'm debating what vents to go with before I send my dash layout to the machine shop to be cut. I used factory-style chrome outer dash bezels and balls, and am not sure what to go with for the inner dash vents. I was doubting going round until seeing that pic.

VA does make some pretty nice ones (http://www.summitracing.com/search/Brand/Vintage-Air/Part-Type/Interior-Dash-Vents/?Ns=Rank|Asc), and they get expensive quick.

Yeah the VA ones do get expensive. The ones I wanted were $76 each but they can't get them anymore. After seeing that picture, I've decided to go with the Billet Specialties ones like in the picture. They are about $42 each and the nice thing is they swivel around so you can point them anywhere. The other option was to get rectangular ones, but I couldn't find any that really jumped out at me.
