hi,i need to know what the experts recomend about the rear spring diameter for a 80 malibu road course,the stock measuremet its 0.562 diameter,i want to chang for something bigger but i dont know how much bigger the wire diameter should be,any help will be apreciated.

Wire diameter isn't a sure fire method of determining springrate anymore. Back when everything was cold wound, it would work, but it's tough to know which are and which are not. IMHO, get with a company that makes the springs and get the proper springrate for your application. G-body rear springs are about the easiest to find anywhere. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for, try speedwaymotors.com in the circle track section, tons of options there.
