Cool Video! More and more car reviews giving the nod to pro-touring. Thanks to Art Morrison!

Question: What clutch is used in the bel-air? I'm liking the idea of stepping up to a dual disc.

the only T56 dual disc clutch I know of is the street twin from McLeod.

Yes, it has the McLeod clutch. It's awesome!

I can't express how much fun it was to show that car to people who are normally into modern high performance cars. Since I'm constantly surrounded by classic cars that can handle well, I forget that we are a small group of people in the automotive world, and most don't know we exist. It's a real eye opener for people to see what a '55 Chev can do.

Hey Steven - If you go with that McLeod clutch you will be very happy!

Like Matt said it was a lot of fun to watch Matt Farah get used to the car and start pushing it a bit in the corners. By the end of the day he was having a lot of fun.

I was really impressed with the car scene in SoCal too! We went to Cars&Coffee, a run with Luxury4Play.com with a bunch of supercars and then to Supercar Sunday. There was no attitude at any of these shows and it sure seemed like that people were genuniely interested and appreciative of a pro-touring classic. It was a great weekend!

Glad you enjoyed the video!
