I am about to do a minitub rear suspension in a friend's 68 Camaro ,he is looking at either TCIs TA or 4 link with panhard rod. Either will be installed with DSEs minitubs.

TCI states up to an 11" wheel w 305 wide tire can be used in this application. What is the difference with the rear suspension in regards to tire clearance vs. DSEs Quadralink?

I have DSE tubs and Quadralink in my 67.. it sits low with 18x12s and a 345/30/18 BFG dragradial.

Is the difference in the suspension/control arms, or in how the tubs are installed?

Our link bars attach to the outside of the frame vs. DSE that sit inboard. We also use a coilover crossmember that covers the whole frame inside and out. Having said that we have had many of our customers use a 335 tire on a 12" wheel with our rear kits. The DSE tubs cut into the frame so you will have to modify our crossmember to make it fit.

Here are some pics I have taken because this question comes up fairly often.

This is our car on a lift with 18"x11" wheels and 315 tires. Keep in mind we are not using a DSE tub but we did cut into the frame about 3/8".

Those that fit a 12" wheel w 335s... did they have to modify the lower link bar? Or was it all in the tubs and the ends of the crossmember?

No mods to the link bars at all. We typically leave the outer portion of the crossmember unwelded in these situations to make your life a little easier.
