I guess I am far enough along to start my project post. This is our 67 Chevelle I picked up in Aug 2009 for $500.00. No motor or trans and it had been sitting for 15 years in northern California under a oak tree.

Frame stripped and painted

Tubular arms, dropped spindles

13" front brakes
18"x8" front wheels

Smoothed firewall

Engine 1974 454 never been opened.

After machine work. Eagle rotating assembly, KB pistons 10.5-1, Aluminum heads, roller rockers.

Rotted body panels removed. Por 15 underbody next is to install the new AMD panels.

Finally got all the AMD panels welded on. They fit really good.

Have a th400 when I took it apart to rebuild it found the planetary gears had exploded. Called Jake's Performance Transmission and ordered all the goods to support the Big Block HP.

That motor looks like it could've come straight from GMPP ... Nice job :)

I think the chevelle's look great with staggered wheels.
