Had a weird voice mail from Bill this morning.. he was in some cruddy cell site cause it kept cutting out.. He sounded kinda frantic and it was weird because he is normally a pretty mellow guy.

Says he has been locked up for "good".. I could swear he said he is trying to get bail so he can get out.. why he would call me with his phone call is beyond me..

Anyways.. I am a little worried and being on the west coast I can't find anything out..

Anyone know what happened to Bill???? :scared:

I always figured that guy was kinda shifty. Something about his left eye had me wondering. It kinda oozed fluid whenever you ask him what he does for a livin'. :naughty:

I cant seem to get a hold of him either. The one time he picked up the phone there was so much backgound noise i couldnt make out what he was saying. I tried to call back but someone else answered his phone and said he would be unavailable for a long time. The guy sounded very serious. I hope hes ok but he always did strike me as kind of shifty. Let me know if you guys find out whats going on.

At least you didn't here grunts, SUIEEE and "you got a mighty purdy mouth there" in the background.. :poke:

But seriously.. I found his cell number and no answer.. it goes straight to voicemail and it is full... :(

I got a similar call from Bill at 9:30 AM EST this morning. He didn't sound good on the phone, he was talking really low and his phone kept cutting out. I heard lots of yelling in the background. He said he had to go away for a long time, and proceeded to give me directions to a package he had buried out in Georgia. Said it may help me get Fantom done quicker? Whatever happened, it happened early this morning.

He called me today looiking for bail money. Told me he was "locked up for good" until he raised a $1000 bail money, and it couldn't be his own money?
Makes me a little concerned after taking all that cash from him for the car? You know, it is not uncoomon in my business to run into people with money, but you can't help wondering how they get it. Then you get a call like this..................
It doesn't make sense though, Just days ago we were building this car, he was looking at turbo Cayanne's for the wife, now he is locked up? I will probably have to help anyway.
I'll let ya'll know when I hear more.

I've never seen a day where Bill hasn't posted or logged in. Looks like he hasn't been on since this morning. This coincides with the 9:30 call this morning.

I can assure all it is for real. Bill was arrested and "locked up for good" this morning, as the police came and took him to jail.

Why did they take him to jail? This has got to be a joke.

I spoke with him..... Yesterday. He seemed very uneasy and nervous. He wasn't really making any sense to me. Butt he did say that it may be the last I talk to him. It was in and out of gibberish. I got kinda worried, and I tried calling him today, but same as Steve. No answer. I was able to leave a message though. Quite the oddity..... Although I'm one to think he stole bad donuts from a cop. I told him to watch out for the powdered ones. He's gonna leave the slammer with the nickname of "Silly Billy" I can tell you for sure though. I'm sure we'll all miss the guy.

I told him he was going senile in his old age. I guess it hit him like a brick wall. Sniff...... Just keep them cheeks tight Bill. You're nobody's woman.......

he is in one of those prank get arrested deals where you get hauled in, then you make calls to raise money for some cause, like cancer research..I used to have my boss hauled in every year...they pulled up in 1920 model T paddy wagon and hauled his rump into the pen, I set bail at 2G every year, my guess Bill's is/was set at 1G.

this is why he was calling anyone he could think of...lol

good stuff and little fun to.

Bud.

    Lot of laughs guys.
What you have read here today is absolutely the truth and with Bud's post, it all comes together.
I was picked up around 9:30 this morning by a black and white cruiser. The officer had an offical looking warrent for my "arrest" . I was taken to the "jail" and was "booked" for "good". The good of the children as in Jerry's Kids (MDA). I had the raise my "bail" as Bud said of at least $1000. I had a heads up about this several weeks ago and already had raised $1300 so all I really had to do was show up. Attached is my "mug shot". It was alot of fun and I thought I would share it with everyone this way. I hope now when you see a firetruck at an intersection with firemen holding boots for donations or when you see a donation jar in your local convenience store, you will think of this thread and throw in a buck or two. Those kids really pull at my heartstrings and I was happy to "serve time" and do my part to help. I think most everyone saw through the joke here but I want to thank those that keep it going all day to peak everyone's interest.

I sure hope thats the deal, he actually e-mailed me today @ 5:14 pm according to my e-mail, letting me know he received my donation for Larry & Susan. I'm in with Smoke'm on this one, I think it he's "doin time" for a good cause.

I missed out on the fun! I got home and got Bill's message on my answering machine. I had a good story worked up too.

Is it too late to donate Bill? Shoot me an e-mail, I'd like to help out!

edit: Nevermind. Just read your post. I guess it's never too late. It's definitely a good cause.

Thanks alot, but it aint about me. I am sure there is a MDA office in your area that would love any amount you want to give. As Frank said earlier, the big telethon is always on the tube every year and you can do a pledge then. I swear, it tears me up when I watch those kids. Thankfully the money I raised today was enough money to send two of them to camp this year.
Thanks again

Because when I broke the last cell phone, some of the numbers did not transfer and when I tried to call you yesterday, I realized yours was lost too. PM it to me again please!

Yeah the thread reallly had the board jumping for a while, over 375 hits yesterday in about 4 hours. I should have let it go alittle longer-lol

You had me going too. Im glad to hear it was for a good cause and you weren't in there getting violated. Hearing phrases like "Hang onto my belt loop" :moon: Or "Toss my salad"

I was rereading the thread and found this mistake. The telethon is always on Labor Day. Of course if you want to, I am sure they will take your donation on Memorial Day also-lol
