Here is a project that came in that was only gonna get a paint job & a new GM crate motor with 700R.. but as the owner saw that I was doing a bunch of LS Conversion.. Project took a complete turn around.. I found a L99/6L80 out of Cleveland Pick A Part out of a 2010 Camaro with 1700 miles on it..
Suspension upgrades: DSE Stage 1 front suspension upgrade with steering box, koni shocks, rear leafs, Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners
Edelbrock Headers, Custom engine mounts & transmission, MagnaFlow exhaust system, Ron Davis Radiator, Speartech harness rework, Ricks Hot Rod Gas tank
& much more to come!!

Are you staying with the 2010 Camaro accessory drive? AC? Why the custom engine mounts as opposed to an off the shelf conversion plate? Is there any setback?

We are only using the water pump, harmonic balancer... gonna use Corvette alternator/Power steering bracket to place it high to clear the gear box & steering linkage.. We are making our own A/C brackets to use a saden 7 compressor compatible with Vintage Air system
LS conversions are pretty new to 2nd gens.. all we did was modify the stock transmission support & build new frame mounts.. easier for us to & place the motor where we wanted it

Did you ever complete this build? If so, do you have any pictures of the engine bay? I am doing the same L99/6L80e swap.
