Any of you have this x-box game? The first week it came out I was in 2nd or at least 3rd place in the world in the first Autocross event in every class. Your times are automatically updated online. I have bumped down since the first week but once I get upgraded cars I will be back to try again and im sure I will be in the top 10 at least.
For those that dont know, you can do a wheelie in Forza if you set your suspension perfect. I had one of my cars do a wheelie 1 foot off the ground last night.
You can also put 500 Vinyls on 1 car. Some allow 600 Vinyls. The physics are just incredible and a lot better than GT4 physics.

Better as in more realistic, or better as in more fun/easy to play?

The physics are better than GT4 in every way possible. Keep in mind I am one of the biggest GT series fan but they did an incredible job with Forzas physics. Like I said above if you mess with your car enough you can pull the front tires off the ground. Only a couple cars though and it takes some work.
If you adjust your springs to the point they are realy really weak and reduce the pressure of your shocks your car will rock all over the place just like it would in real life. The car also wears on different spots of the tire depending on camber, caster, toe in, toe out settings.
GT4 is still better when it comes to graphics but Forzas replay value and physics make this game sooooo much more enjoyable.

I haven't tried it yet. I take it you think it's worth buying? I might have to hit the store and pick it up this afternoon.

Absolutely! Here is a list of why you should buy Forza and the X-box if you dont already have one. Gt4 graphics were amazing but the game play was not enjoyable and the replay value is almost non existent besides the photomode.
I have been getting asked this question non stop since Forza has been released.
"Should I get the X-box and Forza"?
The answer is YES if you are going to purchase X-box Live
If you aren't going to play purchase X-box Live then I would say NO.
Listed below are some of the highlights of Forza. Please add more as you think of them and ask questions.
1. Very impressive physics that are better than GT4
2. Tire marks
3. Buy and sell your cars online with friends or anyone(this is awesome!!)
4. Very intelligent AI most of the time
5. 600 vinyls on one car
6. Very impressive exhaust sounds
7. Car damage like engine damage, suspension, body, brakes, and transmission
8. Play your career mode online against real people
9. Engine swaps on some vehicles
10. When you buy upgrades, your cars value increases. Very realistic
11. You can sell parts off of your car and get the money back
12. Any race you do or attend is added to a scoreboard online automatically and people can try to beat it even if you arent online.
13. Autocross events are soo much fun!
14. You can have hot laps with your friends time even if he isnt playing. This means no more posting your times online for friends in a thread.
15. You can save other peoples settings and their ghosts.
16. Only place to race Ferrari and Porsche
These are what I can think of in just a few seconds off the top of my head. Get X-box live if you get this game.
dude get out and smell the coffee! youre gonna turn into a mush mind if you stare at that TV too long! Does this new game have as many cars as GT4?

There are over 230 cars in Forza ,no not as many cars as GT4 but Forza has most of the good ones like 68 GT500, RS 69 Camaro, 67 Split window corvette, Ferrari Enzo, Porsh and other goodies. Unlike GT4 that had 15+ skylines and multiple cars of the same type.
Forza car list (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/news/20050117/forza.htm?level3=news-20050117-forza&level2=ticker&level1=enushome)
Forza is the only game that has the entire line of Ferrari's as well.
I agree the gameplay is amazing. The most realistic I've ever played.

Meh, I don't know if I agree with this thread's poster.
Forza seems pretty hot, especially if you have live, but GT4 is definitely a better stand alone game. And besides, there are no decent wheels to use with Forza, so what's the point?
GT4 With the Driving Force Pro wheels from Logitech is just about the most realistic driving simulator in existence. And the physics engine, while not as hot when it comes to the more asinine details like front end lift, is perfectly accurate when it comes to the physics of driving, and accurately different for each car model.
I'll give Forza a shot when someone makes a decent wheel for them, but for now, I'm sticking with GT4.

This is what I have been working on last night.
This is just a teaser and not finished yet.
Took 95 vinyls for the eleanor car on the roof. Very very hard and time consuming. Any of you with this game know this is almost impossible to do yourself. I have 4 hours into the entire car so far. 3 hours just on the top Eleanor car. I am not finished either. Each little line you see is a vinyl that had to be stretched down to be a little line. THere arent any letter vinyls in the game either so I also had to make those.
If anyone wants a copy of this car to buy online let me know and I will stamp your name on the side and a production number. Game money of course. Not real money.
I currently have over 17 to make for other people. This car is the first production car #1.

I finished the car last night. I added the stripes, put "gone in 60 seconds" on both sides of the car. I also moved my member name and production to the back of the car. They are now placed on the rear spoiler. Now I have 25 requests for this car to make and sell online. :)

I like to skip the wealth building part (worry about money enough in real life!), so I just buy and race the crs I want with this money cheat I found with google. Works as advertised!
===
Forza Motorsport Cheat: Infinite Money
In career mode, purchase the Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6 from the Volkswagen dealership. Next, head into the Garage and the Buy Upgrades screen. Enter the "Engine and Power" section and purchase every engine upgrade available except for the Engine Swap (that includes each individual turbo upgrade, each intercooler, etc.). When you've finally purchased every upgrade, you can then purchase the second engine that's available in the Engine Swap for 2,500 Cr.
After purchasing the new engine, re-install the stock engine. You can then sell the second engine that you purchased for 44,092 Cr (remember, you only paid 2,500 Cr for it) for a profit. You can then buy the engine again (for 2,500 Cr), install the stock engine again, and sell the new engine again for 44,092 Cr. You can repeat this trick to buinld up as much moey as you want.
