Did a few searches and havent found anything here. Being the geeky Engineer that I am with a fresh "PT" build, I was thinking this may be a useful tool to evaluate performance and possibly setup changes.

Anyone use it?

HAHA, same here. I have the Autometer D-pic gauge. Its an accelerometer and does some calculations as well. 0-60, 60-0, 1/4 mile and others. I have it mounted in my DD 95 mustang just to test it and see how accurate it is. It measures horsepower as well and was spot on with what the slighlty modified mustang should be. i also compared it to my buddies I-phone. They measured within 2% for forward acceleration and lateral-G.

So I think its cool!

I've used the iPhone dynolicious on the street and on my dads SRT/10 Ram before and after the blower. It gained 12 mph in the 1/4. That seems about accurate from the HP increase claims from Paxton of 120ish to the wheels. Never compared it at the track tho....I always forget to turn it on!! Lol

I also have G-Tac Pro that I used at the Midwest Muscle Car Challenge. The G meter seemed cool (don't know accuratcy) but the gps wouldn't pick ul to get a track layout with info for every corner. If that worked, It would be awesome!

I've used it on the iPhone and it showed me just how tired my original 302-2v was. 0-60 in 9.26 seconds, 1/4 mile in 17.1, peak power at 18% drivetrain loss (?) was 140hp, about right for an engine originally rated at 210 40 years ago.

I rented a Hertz Corvette ZHZ in Vegas and tried it out. Best 0-60 was 5.63 seconds and 1/4 mile was 14.25 - pretty accurate for street run-flat tires.
