Anyone with a line on 1 1/8" front sway bars for Maverick? All I've been able to locate is 7/8".... My rear sway bar is 7/8". Not sure that Mustang will work due to differences in frame width and basic suspension design.

Also, anyone out there done the Shelby upper arm relocate on the Maverick? Need to know the pattern to use. Early Mustang (65-6) is different than later years (68-70). Any ideas would be a great help. I have a template made for both, but the placement is really close. Unfortunately I can't do both sets of holes.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

You may have to go with a splined bar to get the rate that you seem to be searching for....

Through my searches I have come to no real conclusions on the Mustang sway bar use. I have been told it can be done with modifications but dont know what that mod is.

I have the Total Control Upper Control Arms with the Shelby Drop built in. It is the same part number as the 67-73 Mustangs.

Well, in theory, I should be able to use a 67-70 front sway bar. They are available up to 1 1/8" sizes. I wouldn't have a proble relocating the mounting locations for a better fit. I wish I still had my dad's 70 Mustang to check the factory bar placement. That tidbit on your upper control arm choice should give me some ammunition to order parts for the front end. Thanks Chris.
