Has anybody used or has any opinions on using a wishbone for a pro touring car as means of locating the rear. I am doing a stock style suspension on a 61 impala and wanted to get rid of the stock panhard bar for a better locater because the panhard bar shoves the rear to one side or the other through suspension travel and i have very little tire clearance and need the rear to stay square under the car.

A watts would give you better location without the binding associated with most wishbones.

How long is the panhard you have now? Can you lengthen it?

And (following on from Matt's question): is the panhard level at ride height?

The panhard is gone already, i was worried id have to many problems with it. this is what i got so far.Im just worried that the wishbone i made is too narrow, all the wishbones i see on everything else is slightly wider than the one i made/or the location its in will allow.https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2010/08/100_0433-1.jpghttps://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2010/08/100_0331-1.jpghttps://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2010/08/100_0347-1.jpgit seems like it keeps the rear solid , but at speed im not sure, what do ya think?
